Good trip Orly

Bogotá. Outdoors, sunny day. Standing, Orlando Arenas embraces Lourdes Fiallos and María Victoria Díaz, at his sides.

Knowing that you would leave so soon, I would have made sure to repeat to you a thousand times how talented you were, how silly you were, and how your voice and your laughter will continue to be heard for a long time. We will meet again, and I will tell you all that. We will laugh again with the memories of the adventures we shared.

Launch of Cine con Sentido - Accessible Cinema in Spanish for Latinos in the United States

On December 3, celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we officially launched Cine con Sentido. The main objective of this initiative, conceived by Dicapta and Canal 22 Internacional, is to highlight the benefits of making, offering, and enjoying accessible audiovisual content supporting in this way the inclusion of our Latino community.

Carlos Martínez: raising a person with disabilities

Carlos Martínez

My name is Carlos Martínez, and I have two children with my partner, Priscilla and Carlos.

Priscilla doesn't have any disabilities, but Carlos, who was born with full vision, was diagnosed with Bilateral Retinoblastoma when he turned one year old. After severe treatments including chemotherapy, radiation, and laser therapy, the result was the loss of his eyes. This is where our journey began.
