Dinning in the Dark made me wonder about other things, like how it would be to cook in the dark. Dicapta visited Educational Vision Services during their Chancellor’s Conference Day Staff Development
Last November, we had the wonderful opportunity of meeting the Educational Vision Services (EVS) team in New York, during their Chancellor’s Conference Day Staff Development.
By our advisory group member and friend Juddy Matthews.

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, through the Administration for Community Living (ACL), has given Dicapta resources for the first stage of its project “Digital Aided Descriptions (DAD): An application to encourage learning through creativity and dialogue.”
Through the years, we have provided access to audiovisual media for people with sensory disabilities. We have worked closely with people who are deaf-blind and it has inspired us to find solutions for their needs.
Today is a day to celebrate! We are very pleased to announce that the wonderful audiovisual content of Discovery en la Escuela is accessible starting today.
