This July, we had the pleasure of presenting two workshops on our innovative platform, All4Voicing Lite, at the American Council of the Blind Convention in Jacksonville, Florida. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community and showcase how our platform is transforming the creation of audio descriptions.

All4Voicing Lite, developed by Dicapta, is a cutting-edge, accessible platform designed to streamline the entire audio description process. With All4Voicing Lite, users can efficiently manage every step—from identifying segments of audiovisual content for description to recording and seamlessly integrating the audio narration with the original audio—all within a single, user-friendly interface. It truly makes creating audio descriptions more enjoyable and rewarding since the users can see the finished product right away without needing other tools.

What sets All4Voicing Lite apart from other AD platforms is the commitment to accessibility from creation. The platform is fully accessible for users with visual impairments, largely thanks to the feedback from Lucy Arguijo, our collaborator and workshop presenter, who is a screen reader user herself. Lucy's insights have been instrumental in ensuring that All4Voicing Lite is user-friendly for everyone. Additionally, the platform leverages AI to provide descriptions of on-screen images, making it easier for users to create comprehensive audio descriptions.

We were delighted to take the workshop participants on the journey of creating audio descriptions, hear their impressions, and receive their comments.
