Now you can watch WUCF's magnificent Space Chase USA documentary with a variety of accessibility options

Space Chase USA, an original WUCF production, can now be viewed with a variety of accessibility options using the Access4All app.

After more than 60 years of the start of the space race and more than 50 years of the first landing of man on the Moon, the launches of Space X have put space travel back on the front page. The beginnings of the space race in the 50s profoundly affected the surroundings of Cape Canaveral, and Space Chase USA tells us how the neighboring town of Cocoa Beach changed with the arrival of the space program and the astronauts.

Before as it is today, being an astronaut is being part of a very select group of men and women who go through very demanding training. In the early days of the space race, being an astronaut was also being a celebrity. Space Chase USA gathers archival material and interviews with residents of Cocoa Beach at the time to create an image of that time. The images of the astronauts in their silver spacesuits are fantastic!

This magnificent documentary won an Emmy Award in 2019, and now you can enjoy it anytime in English with captions, audio description, and American Sign Language using the Access4All app.

Visit this link to watch the documentary. At the same time, use Access4All to synchronize the accessibility with the documentary, as shown in the video below.

Take a look at the past and contrast it with the present. Without a doubt, taking human beings into outer space is still fascinating!
