Dicapta has received resources from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, through the Administration for Community Living (ACL), to develop a Digital Aided Description tool that will offer an inviting and accessible experience for students with visual impairments to collaborate with sighted peers and teachers in creating descriptions of pictures and other images from their own reading, lessons, and classroom experience.

The Center on Technology and Disability - CTD- released its video production Transition - The Path to College.  This video was produced in Spanish by Dicapta for the CTD.  It addresses the need of information among Hispanic/Latino children with disabilities and their families about this important step: going to college.
