On November 18, Canal 22 Internacional, one of our great allies on accessibility in Spanish within the TVAccess project funded by the United States Department of Education, received the Outstanding Contribution in International Accessibility Award from the American Council of the Blind, Audio Description Awards.
Canal 22 Internacional has demonstrated a firm commitment to accessibility by, among other things:
- Creating special slots, within its programming, for series and documentaries that are available with captions and audio description.
- Creating the Manos Arriba series to teach sign language to its audience.
- Promoting accessibility.
