Dicapta is proud to announce that it was recognized by the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce at the 2013 Small Business Celebration and Awards event on May 2, 2013.
Maria Victoria Diaz, Dicapta’s president, was excited to receive the Minority Business Award, as well as extremely honored to accept the award of Small Business of the Year for 2013.
“It was a surprise for us. It is an honor to be recognized in our community. We, as Dicapta, are very proud of our accomplishments and it’s all because we have a wonderful team,” said Maria Victoria Diaz.
The ceremony was held at the Lake Mary Westin Hotel where the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrated the success and highlighted the accomplishments of companies doing business in Seminole County. There were 35 companies being nominated and a dozen companies were recognized for their work in making Seminole County a great place to live, work and play. The winners were selected by a committee, who ranked all 35 nominations independently. Winners were chosen by tabulating the independent scorecards and determining the highest score in each category. Dicapta was presented with the top award in the Minority Business category in addition to having achieved the overall high score and presented with the 2013 Small Business of the Year Award.
